Jan brought us to a part of Prague, off of Wenceslas Square, where there was a quiet, sunny garden. This part of Prague used to be a monastery, he told us, and this is where the monks would come and meditate or garden. Kitschy kiosks dotted the expanse of the place, but it really was something nice to see considering the hustle and bustle Wenceslas Square gave off. There was a gelato stand nearby as well. Rose bushes grew in square formations, a fountain trickled off in the distance. I never went back to that park, but I probably should have.
